WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOGA WITH RHYANNE?

Rhyanne’s background is in Contemporary dance and therapeutic movement and this still very much inspires her teaching today. You will experience a flowing style of vinyasa yoga, which leads you, the practitioner from one pose to the next - a carefully choregraphed dance between body, mind and breath. Mindful vinyasa-flow when delivered in a particular way can be beneficial for those who arrive on the mat with a busy mind, experiencing stress or anxiety. Unlike other traditional forms of vinyasa yoga which can be uplifting and dynamic, can for some students leave them feeling burnt out and tired. Rhyanne works therapeutically to fuse together mindful flowing movement with intentional stillness and micro rests. Many experience this balance of movement and stillness as potential to more deeply integrate the benefits of their yoga practice. The result - you feel alert but calm. Not hyper aroused which vigorous movement exercise can induce, and not asleep. Somewhere in between. In balance.

Welcome ! Please arrive to your first class 15 minutes early so that we can have a quick chat before the session starts. Please bring your own yoga mat.


I have injuries / specific health CONDITION - is a group class suitable for me?

I always welcome beginners to my group classes and in many cases my group sessions are suitable for those with certain health challenges as plenty of modifications are offered during the class. However depending on your health condition, a private yoga therapy session might serve you better to begin with. Please get in touch to arrange a free 15 minute phone call and we can discuss your needs in more detail.
