mindfully moving you

You can join me for :

MINDFUL MOVEMENT: Though you will see the different types of yoga I teach listed above, mindful movement is what best describes my personal teaching method and a style that I have developed over my years of teaching. Mindful movement is the art of blending physical yoga postures alongside mindfulness practises in order to facilitate a greater connection to the body, mind and breath. This style emerged from long-term personal practise and exploration, and is what makes classes with Living Yoga different.

All of my classes are suitable for beginners. Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out a health form.

TYPES OF YOGA :

WHAT IS HATHA YOGA?

A slow-paced class, without the flow associated with a Vinyasa class. A brilliant place to start if you are new to yoga. Hatha tends to offer more time and space to become familiar with yoga poses and relaxation techniques.

WHAT IS VINYASA-FLOW YOGA?

Often quite dynamic, postures tend to flow from one to the next allowing your mind to stay focused and fully immersed in your asana practise. Fun, creative and uplifting sequences. This class is also suitable for beginners that might like to begin with a challenge.

WHAT IS RESTORATIVE YOGA?

Time to completely slow down and relax, restorative postures are generally floor-based and supported by the use of many various props. A restorative class is about rejuvenation and renewal and bringing us into deep states of rest.
